People believe everything they did was the best that could have happened, but most of the time you chose what path you take. The path you chose to follow can open your mind and opportunities. You have to search and try hard to get whatever you want, things will not get to you as easy as it may seem. "15.29 The Master said, Human beings can broaden the Way-it is not the Way that broadens beings."(pg 45) All the opportunities you discover and try you have to do them willingly, not as if you were obliged. It is a learning opportunity where you can improve being good.
Don't let opportunities pass by, enjoy them as much as you can while you have them, in one moment or another you will not have them. Many people might not notice many things they have until they lose them. Be grateful for what you have right now because you don't know what will actually happen in future and if you will continue having the same things you have now. Depending on the path you decide to take your opportunities will change accordingly and you'll not even notice.

I completely agree with you concerning the way in which we fell gratified for our things only when we lose them. However, I also think that people take opportunities as well as possessions for granted. This also applies to friends. You can have them one day and lose them the next.
I agree with your point, we must take all the juice out of each moment, out of every experience we live. Depending on the decisions we make, we are able to build a better future. Life is a path where we constantly encounter different doors, a place where we must decide where we are going. “All the opportunities you discover and try you have to do them willingly, not as if you were obliged. It is a learning opportunity where you can improve being good”. Here you say that we must take the decisions according to our choice, not to others choice. Which reminds me of God, did Abraham take the decisions he wanted himself, or did he just follow God’s influence? Finally, the path of our life is a dimension that reflects who we really are.
It’s somehow a little cliché what you said about many people not noticing the things they have until they lose them, but still it’s true, and I support the fact that when we are presented with any opportunity we must take it willingly. People who are not willing to learn are closed minded to new chances that life presents them, but still what if people consciously reject these opportunities and decide not to use them for their benefit? Would this be considered to not take advantage of life, or is it simply a personal decision to reject opportunities?
As I said in class, be careful with your close readings.
