Eternal Love

The story of Apollo and Daphne is a myth that has a very good message; it is that love will never end. Whether you believe in Cupid or not, this myth has a belief in Cupid, and is trying to tell that bows are not only used in wars, but also for love. I really liked this myth because I enjoy having another perspective of what love looks like.

This myth has a very nice thing that it's that even though Daphne doesn't really want to be with Apollo, he will do the impossible to be with her. "Since you cannot be my wife," said he, "you shall assuredly be my tree." this quotation can represent that after all the efforts Apollo did to get her, she turns to be something else to avoid him. Love will never perish in the heart of Apollo, and therefore declares Laurel tree his. You can always see this myth to get a different view of love especially if someone is running away from you; you can follow your love until you realize your desires. You should also have to understand some variables that might affect your partner's decision, even if you don't agree, you have to accept and learn how to live with it. In this myth Daphne lived being a tree, and Apollo loving the tree, they both lived accepting each other's condition.

What else does a tree say to us?
What are we to make of Apollo and Daphne?
